The Fundamental Poses are a set of standing poses from the Ashtanga Vinyasa system. These are poses you’ve encountered during practically any yoga class. They serve literally as fundamental poses basic enough that anyone can do them, and they are the foundation to expanding your practice. We’ll review:
uttanasa (standing forward folds)
triangle pose (trikonasana)
extended side angle pose (parsvakonasana)
prasaritta padotanasana (wide legged forward fold)
parsvattonasana (chin to shin pose)
