Performers Linda Lavin and Steve Bakunas have a history in construction. In Wilmington, N.C., the couple transformed an automotive garage into the 50-seat Red Barn Studio Theatre in 2007. They immersed themselves in the project, adding to the rich cultural offerings of the port city where they met in 1999.

PS21: Performance Spaces for the 21st Century will open the doors to its new state-of-the-art black box theater Saturday, April 14 at 8:00 pm with a celebration and dance performance. Caleb Teicher & Co will headline the event on Saturday night, and will perform again Sunday, April 15 at 2:00 pm. PS21 is located at 2980 Route 66 in the village of Chatham.
