Nature Walk | 3:30 PM
Explore hidden corners and unmarked trails of PS21’s 100 acres of meadows, woodlands, and rolling hills with artist Alison McNulty, including a visit to McNulty’s installation Hudson Valley Ghost Column 7, the first public art project commissioned by PS21. Ghost Column 7, a cylindrical tower of vintage bricks and unprocessed wool, engages imaginatively with PS21’s landscape as it weathers the changing seasons. McNulty writes that her work “emerges from an interdisciplinary perspective informed by natural sciences, archaeology, diverse writers and thinkers, and place-based research.” Participation is FREE and open to all ages. Wear hiking boots or sturdy shoes and dress with the weather in mind.
